In the summer of 2017, Tees Archaeology and local volunteers carried out a series of investigations at Piercebridge as part of the River Tees Rediscovered project. This free workshop is a chance to find out more about Roman Piercebridge and the investigations that took place. A number of specialists will set the results of the work in a broader context and finds will be available to view. The workshop will take place at the Head of Steam Museum at Darlington and number are limited due to the space in the venue.
There is no charge for the day, but numbers are limited to 45 due to the size of the venue therefore booking is essential. Lunch can be obtained in the café at the museum.
